The Rothes Way is a community-led project which aims to provide a multi-use path linking Rothes and Craigellachie, free for everyone to use. It will for the most part follow the line of the former Morayshire railway and will provide a safe, scenic route, principally for walkers and cyclists, which avoids the busy main road between the two communities. It will also provide a link to the established Speyside Way from Craigellachie to Aberlour and beyond.
